Crockpot Christmas Roast
A cozy, hands-off holiday meal that fills the house with the most delicious aroma. Perfect for busy days when you want a special dinner waiting when you walk in the door!

Ingredients
4–5 lb beef chuck roast
1 packet onion soup mix
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tbsp garlic (minced)
Butter (for searing the roast)
1 cup beef bone broth (more if needed to cover the bottom of the pot)
Salt + black pepper
1 can organic cranberry sauce
4–6 sprigs fresh rosemary
6 Tbsp butter (cut into chunks)
Instructions
Sear the roast:
In a hot skillet, melt a bit of butter and sear the chuck roast on all sides until the edges are browned and crispy. This step adds incredible flavor — don’t skip it!Layer the crockpot:
Add chopped onion, garlic, and bone broth to the bottom of the crockpot.Place the roast:
Transfer the seared roast on top of the aromatics.Season:
Sprinkle onion soup mix, salt, and pepper (to taste) directly over the roast.Add the festive touch:
Spoon cranberry sauce over the top, then scatter butter chunks and place rosemary sprigs around the roast.Slow cook:
Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours, or until the meat is fall-apart tender.Serve:
Shred or slice and plate with the pan juices. Enjoy with toasty bread and a simple tossed salad for a complete, cozy meal.
